About the Press

TUDObooks gives researchers at TU Dortmund University the opportunity to publish scientific monographs and anthologies free of charge as open access e-books.

• The publication is released as a PDF document under an open access license of your choice.
• Each monograph (or each contribution in anthologies) is assigned a DOI as a persistent identifier.
• Mandatory delivery to the German National Library and long-term archiving are guaranteed via the Eldorado repository.
• Mandatory delivery to the Westfalica Electronica state portal is provided as a service by the university archive.
• Research data related to the books can be published on the TU Dortmund University data repository, TUDOdata. These data sets also receive a DOI for referencing and direct linking.
• All books are formally indexed so that they can be easily found in databases, (scientific) search engines, and national and international library catalogs, e.g., in Katalog Plus, BASE, or Google Scholar.
